Neobisium maritimum, Shore Neobisiid
The cephalothorax and opisthosomal tergites are deep olive-brown; the pedipalp rich olive-brown; legs greenish; length of body: 3.2 mm.
Distribution: Europe: Atlantic coast of Ireland, England, W. France. In Britain there are a few scattered records from SW. Cornwall, SW. Wales, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Anglesey and the coast of Ireland N. maritimum is found in rock crevices and under stones from the top of the upper shore and in the splash zone, down into the Ascophyllum zone.
