Kingmere Rocks

Kingmere Rocks
Kingmere Rocks, 50° 43.53′ N; 0° 27.62′ W, 6 – 14 m BCD, consists of a large area of outcrops of uneven seabed with sandstone, boulders and mixed ground with occasional horizontal exposures of mudstone. This area has been designated a LINK Marine Site of Nature Conservation Interest; further Kingmere Rocks The area has also been proposed as a Marine Conservation Area LINK, and see The Wildlife Trusts and the Marine Conservation Society, Seasearch.
Of note are the Black Bream, Spondyliosoma cantharus, breeding nests, details of which can be found at the Sussex Inshore Fisheries Conservation Authority.
